Domestic sales among South Korea’s five main automakers jumped by 27% to 1,589,706
units in 2015, compared with 1,251,269 units two years ago in 2013. The Domestic Manufactures sales hold more than 85% of total car sales in South Korea. Hyundai the largest manufacturer sold in 2015 714,121 units
achieving almost 39% of the total market.
