The gaming industry has been parallel with global trends, as it is becoming increasingly accessible and more online-based. The trendiest soon-to-be-seen segments in the gaming industry are MMO games (Massively Multiplayer Online games), and what has become man's best friend in recent years: the cellular phone, which facilitates mobile gaming. As a result of these trends, offline video games and handheld video consoles are greatly declining in usage.
