Mobile Communication and Mobile Payment. Total Subscribers in Europe between Y2009 and Y2011

Mobile subscriber numbers are rather stable in Europe, though there was an increase of 18 million users in 2 years. On the other hand mobile payments added "only" added about 10 Million. The important thing is the growth rate. While mobile communication is a stagnant market in Europe it showed growth of 3% in 2 years which is very low, while mobile payments increased by over 200%!!! this is huge
